Paint & Sip – Children & Family Art Sessions

Join us for a relaxed and creative Paint & Sip session at The Sheds, Framlingham, led by professional artist and experienced art teacher Verity Watkins.

Each session lasts 1.5 hours and uses acrylic paint on canvas board, with clear, step-by-step guidance so everyone can enjoy the process and leave with a finished artwork. No previous experience is needed.

Session options:

Children Only Session: Ages 8+

Parent & Child Session: Ages 6+ when attending with an adult

Sessions are designed so children and adults can work confidently at their own level, in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

When: Once a month on Saturdays (some Sundays)

10.00–11.30am

12.00–1.30pm

What’s included: All art materials provided, Acrylic painting on canvas board, Guided instruction throughout the session

What to bring: your own favourite drinks to sip and snacks to keep you going

What to wear: Old clothes or clothes you don’t mind getting paint on, Aprons are provided, but acrylic paint can stain

What to expect: A calm, welcoming studio environment, Short demonstrations followed by plenty of painting time, Encouragement to explore and personalise artwork, Paintings to take home on the day

Arty Party

 (Ages 7+)

Celebrate with a fun and creative Arty Party led by professional artist and experienced art teacher Verity Watkins, held at The Sheds, Framlingham.

Parties run for 1.5 hours and include a fully guided art activity using quality materials. Each child creates their own artwork to take home, with plenty of support and encouragement throughout.

Suitable for:

• Children aged 7+

• Groups of up to 12 children
Pricing:

• £20 per child (up to 8 children)

• £18 per additional child (up to a maximum of 12)

• Minimum party spend: £160 (regardless of numbers)

50% non- refundable deposit at time of booking to secure your party date. Remaining balance due 7 days before the event. 

Final guest numbers must be confirmed 7 days before the event.

What’s included:

What you provide:

• All food and drink

• Cups, plates and party refreshments, party bags
Party times:

• Saturdays: 10.00–11.30am

• Aprons are provided, but paint may still mark clothing

• A relaxed, creative party focused on making rather than noise

• Clear instruction suitable for mixed abilities

• A structured activity with time to explore and personalise

• Children leave with a completed artwork and a sense of achievement

Cancellations

1. Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance: Deposit remains non-refundable, but no further charges apply.

2. Cancellations within 14 days: The full amount will be due unless the date is rebooked with another client.

3. If you need to postpone, an alternative date will be offered where possible.

Safety & Supervision

1. A responsible adult must remain present at all times.

2. Studio10a is fully insured, but supervision is the responsibility of the host.

3. Allergies: Please advise if any children have allergies (e.g., latex, paint ingredients)

 This is a calm, creative alternative to high-energy parties — ideal for children who love art, making and expressing themselves.
